Tonight is the final night of the Sanremo Festival, where among the five finalist artists is singer-songwriter Ermal Meta with the song "Stella Stellina." The song is a dedication to the children of Gaza, who are depicted as innocent victims of the Israel-Palestine conflict.
The performance and message of the song have received public acclaim. Italian music icon Adriano Celentano has said that Meta "deserves the win", praising the lyrics and sensitivity of the song.
Italian Minister Matteo Salvini has also expressed support for the artist of Albanian origin, congratulating him on his integration in Italy. According to Salvini, those citizens of foreign origin who live and work fully integrated into Italian society are precious.
