
'Black' in American cinematography. Suzanne Somers lost her long battle with cancer just a day before her 77th birthday. The actress died early Sunday morning at the age of 76.
A statement from her spokesperson said: “Suzanne Somers passed away at home in the early hours of October 15. She survived an aggressive form of breast cancer for more than 23 years. Suzanne was surrounded by her loving husband, Alan [Hamel], her son, Bruce, and her immediate family.”
Suzanne Somers was an American actress, author, singer and businesswoman. She was born on October 16, 1946 in San Bruno, California, USA. Somers became best known for her television roles, most notably as Chrissy Snow in the popular 1970s series Three's Company. This particular role made him a prominent figure in American pop culture at the time.
In addition to her acting career, Somers has written several books, including health-related books on topics such as fitness, nutrition and alternative medicine.
