The Book Center appreciates Luljeta Lleshanaku, he is declared "Poet Laureate" in Albania

The National Book and Reading Center has announced Luljeta Lleshanaku as Poet Laureate of Albania.

The announcement was made after a long process, while the jury considered several names, including the purity of the image.

Lleshanak was selected among ten names and succeeded Rudolf Mark.

"The title "Poet Laureate" is given to the Albanian poet Luljeta Lleshanak, with the motivation for her modern verse, away from the automated metaphor, building the meaning of the poetic phrase with rhythm and comparison, as well as for the creation of a new generation of poets. Luljeta Lleshanaku represents what is postmodern in Albanian poetry, bringing the latter to the contemporaneity with world poetry", says the motivation.
