On November 15, the stage of the National Experimental Theater welcomed the play "Red" by director Altin Basha. Gentian Zenelaj and Urim Aliaj were the protagonists of this drama, written by John Logan.
"Red" has brought back the actor Gentian Zenelaj in a dramatic role, unlike almost all other roles with which the public is used to seeing him. Invited yesterday afternoon to the show "Rudina", Zenelaj said that this role, as a challenge and a gift of his 45th birthday, has come with a lot of fatigue and effort, and there were even scary moments.
"It was an important date, which came with so much fatigue, with so much effort, I will even show you a comical, scary moment, I can call it, at the premiere. Suddenly, one moment, someone came with a very big eye and the whole big canvas collapses and falls on the other side with the whole painting and for me and Urimin it was a real friend, because we didn't know... the big scaffolding was torn that fell and Urim and I had a moment of terrible fear, because we didn't know how the show would go forward. Meanwhile, the director Altin Basha had thought of the entire finale of the show on that big scaffolding, where all the paintings were placed, so it would be a massive part of the scenography. It was a moment that I will remember all my life, how two actors squirmed. Half of the brain was working on the text and the other half was working on how to technically solve the walking behavior of all that huge scaffolding. Thank God we succeeded, even many people thought it was part of the show, so for an actor it's really a scary moment on stage". - said Gent Zenelaj.
