Pedagogist Nora Malaj has also raised the alarm regarding the use of the Albanian language by the majority of deputies in the Albanian Parliament.
On the Terminal show on A2 CNN, Malaj stated that parliamentarians are the ones who are first killing the Albanian language.
" The Albanian language in Parliament is huddled in a corner and is afraid to come out. There is 60% functional illiteracy. Because even those who want to speak cannot do it. Those who want to dialogue, do not dialogue. No one has an identity and they turn into clowns. And to lose the beauty of Albanian in Parliament is to kill the Albanian language ," said Malaj.
Meanwhile, Pedagogist Anila Kananaj raised the alarm that the Albanian language is now facing English, which has become very widespread due to technology. According to her, it is now easier for children to learn English.
" The Monastery Congress was the cornerstone of what we call a literary language. Without it, we would not have a common literary language. It paved the way for the spelling congress, the texts that we have in common. As long as we have Albanians who speak Albanian, the language will live. Albanian is facing languages like English. Technology is doing its job. Children today are speaking English, it comes easier for them ," said Kananaj.
