The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has been elected Vice President of the CDI, the largest Union of center-right parties in the world.
At the CDI Assembly held in Sao Paolo, Brazil, the new CDI Presidency and leaders were elected, including the leader of the Albanian opposition.
Also in the Presidency from Europe are Croatian Prime Minister Andrey Plenkovic, incoming Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansa, and Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orban.
The CDI is made up of 115 center-right parties from Europe, North America, South America and Asia. Its members lead some of the world's leading countries, including the United States.
