The thesis that SPAK can cause political rotation, that is, can overthrow Edi Rama, is one of the most popular in a long time. There has also been a thesis circulating that Altin Dumani is the real leader of the Albanian opposition.
Both theses, in fact, hold true. It is true that SPAK could influence the decline of this majority through the corruption investigation; on the other hand, these investigations have given great popularity to the second-term leader of SPAK, Altin Dumani.
In every poll conducted so far, both SPAK and Altin Dumani himself have great popular support, both from majority voters and from those in the opposition.
All this consensus has come as a result of the special prosecution's targeting of the untouchables, an operation long awaited by the public, which has yielded important results for advancing Albania's status in its credentials towards the European Union.
But the question arises: can SPAK be an actor in the political game in the country, to make it possible to unblock the impasse created by Edi Rama's long rule?
This is where the issue becomes complicated, because whether in intention or in practice, all this positive effort can turn into a real boomerang, and not just a political one.
This public consensus towards this part of justice that deals with the powerful would take a different direction if, for example, Altin Dumani were to enter the field as a political actor.
It is not a bad thing at all; on the contrary, it is a right and there are international precedents in this regard. But this descent into the field should be carried out organically and not as an abuse of the power of justice.
If SPAK were to become a political catalyst, it would turn the political battle into a cockfight, where anti-corruption is no longer a goal, but a means to an end.
It is here that we would see the rise of a now-famous mudslinging machine, which this time could tarnish not Edi Rama, but SPAK itself.
Rama, for his part, has entered a full-blown autocracy, where mud, but a stick, will do nothing. The fight to tarnish him is lost, and here we are in his fourth term.
Edi Rama's departure is no longer an impossible mission, if he is faced with a rival who is a real competitor and a credible political alternative. But if an unprincipled maneuver is used, we may not have the overthrow, but an even more serious strengthening of the regime.
Such an experience is already known in Turkey with Erdogan, but also in other countries, such as with Orban in Hungary or Aleksandar Vučić in Serbia.
If SPAK, namely the judiciary, performs its duty accurately and as fully as possible in the fight against corruption, the power and effect will be much greater than a political maneuver.
On the other hand, the establishment of an opposition in Albania should be done in a normal and natural way, without influence "syringes" that will then fail, just as they have failed all these years.
Antonio Di Pietro entered politics in Italy, but never achieved the popularity he had as a prosecutor in Milan of “Mani Pulite”. It is true that Di Pietro celebrated the fall of the Berlusconi government in 2011, but only after 17 years, while he himself left without glory. Meanwhile, when Silvio Berlusconi died at the age of 85, after having led his party back to government, he was given a state funeral.
However, there is nothing wrong if a SPAK prosecutor, who has significant know-how about the nature of Edi Rama's power, decides to go into politics. In fact, the profile of a good anti-corruption expert in politics could provide a positive injection into Albanian politics.
But if this happens, it requires a linear and principled operation in building an opposition and an alternative team. Because those who are being investigated for corruption and those who have investigated corruption cannot be on the same deck at the same time.

Kur dhe kush e ka bërë këtë sontazh që z.Dumani të rivalizoj politikisht Edi Ramën? Me siguri ky sontazh është i porositur nga vetë Edi Rama dhe dora vetë Sali Berisha.
Jo! Ky veprim mund ta largojë Ramën, por do të gërryejë besimin te SPAK dhe GJKKO: si qytetar i thjeshtë filloj të pyes: A është SPAK për të krijuar një "sistem drejtësie"? Apo për konflikt interesi? Apo po përdor maskën e "reformës në drejtësi" për të hartuar politikën? Anëtarët e SPAK DUHET të jenë gjithmonë në sistemin e drejtësisë, as edhe 1 nanometër në politikë! E rrezikshme.
Mideli për shpartallimin e klases politike te korruptuar e te lidhur me krimin eshte ai qe në fillim u zbatua në vitet 80 në Itali me tangentopolin .pastaj në Kroaci ,Rumani e Bullgari. Në Itali gjykatesi i Milanos i tangentopolit bëri edhe një parti politike pasi e shpartalloi Partinë Demokristiane dhe Partinë Socialiste qe kishin nbi 35 vjet në pushtet njësoj si këtu PD PS. E çte keqe ka qe ndonjë prokuror i Spakut te ndetmartë krijimin e një partie politike pasi te jenë shpartalluar dy partite e kalbura në korrupsion vjedhje e shitje te interesave kombetare siç kanë bërë PS PD qe duhen nxjerre jashtë ligjit urgjentisht?
Dumani ishte i korruptuar që para veting si kolegët e tjerë të tij. PO Si mundet dikush të bëjë jë propozim të tillë kur Dumani është përseritës i shkeljes së drejtave të njeriut dhe kodit të proçedurës penale një njeri i mbushur me mllef dhe urrejtje për shoqërinë dhe ngjan më shumë me një hetues të diktaturës se sa me një prokuror të së drejtës demookratike Fantazi gazetareske e sëmurë sikur nesër ta burgosin ER partia socialliste ka shumicën dhe të drejtën. Kushtetuese të zgjedhe një kryeministër të ri
