The visit of Erdogan's most trusted man, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to Tirana, has still remained mysterious.
The politician who is preparing to succeed the Sultan, burdened by diabetes, made a visit to Tirana, Sofia and Bucharest, which was an unusual itinerary.
Usually Tirana is visited together with other capitals of the Western Balkans, while Fidan had its diplomatic importance in Bulgaria and Romania. Where the important issues of the Black Sea straits, of which the two countries are a part, were discussed.
Normally, Tirana was not in the linear logic of this Balkan agenda of Hakan Fidan, especially since the two big countries he visited are members of the EU and have nothing to do with the geopolitical developments in the Mediterranean or the Western Balkans.
But this is precisely where the crux of this visit, which had a non-public agenda, is hidden. Which was not talked about at all.
Fidan demonstratively published a photo from the mosque of Namazgja, which is neither finished nor has a clear agenda for when it will be delivered.
In his visit to the mosque, in addition to the diplomats of the Turkish embassy, Erdogan's right-hand man also met a group of people who are not known to the public, but who are part of the community of professed Muslim believers.
In this meeting, there was no representative of the Albanian Muslim Community, which is actually Ankara's enemy. But on the other hand, at this meeting there were not even any of the well-known names of the "rebels" seeking the throne of the KMSH. Who have long since stopped the battle with the clerical institution that is strongly defended by the Americans. The latter have vetoed and do not allow Turkey's intervention in the Albanian Muslim clerical institution.
And this is exactly where the conflict started, as Turkey is implementing a dangerous plan to establish a Parallel Islamic Community in Tirana, which will have its center in the Namazgja mosque.
Eventually this cult object will not be handed over to the KMSH, giving you a group of imams who have played with Ankara. And this group will create a single clerical network, who will not be simply religious officials, but even more.
As it is learned, the plan is that the clerics who will lead the Great Mosque, will invite people to create a movement which will take clear political dimensions.
Which in all likelihood will be key for the elections of 2025. The strategy seems to be a lobbying group, which if it does not find the right agreement will emerge as a political party.
The effort for this plan is being done in a non-public way, and as if by magic, all the people who have been active for a long time to oppose the current head of the Albanian Muslim Community have been put on hold. Everyone has suspended the activity, and as it is learned, the suspension of the plan to receive the KMSH has been decided.
If an alternative KMSH happens, then the risk is great, as it may happen, as with Janullatus, instead of a clerical center, we have a political cell of Turkey, which is activated by conspiracy.
A few days ago, Erdogan opened the AKP branch in Germany, to gather the votes of all the Turks in that country, who are in the majority. And then to use them as political influence. The same strategy is expected to be activated in Tirana, where the Turkish state structures have moved strongly recently.
The "Jonus Emre" Cultural Institute, which is a pure structure of the Turkish Foreign Ministry, has held meetings with pro-Turkish people in the Albanian media, as well as some associations that receive large donations from Ankara.
Until today, the votes of the pro-Turkish lobbies in the ranks of the faithful have been managed by Edi Rama, who has given you important state and even diplomatic positions. But Erdogan is not satisfied, since all these developments have been carefully controlled by the official Washington. Who has not allowed these circles to approach the danger line, to have a majority influence.
That's why Erdogan has decided to break the vase and get the genies out of the shisha. In 2025, the votes that Erdogan controls in Tirana will not go to Edi Rama. In all likelihood, these groups are becoming a united lobby, which has long seemed coordinated.
