DP MP, Edi Paloka speaking about the action of the opposition in the parliament, stated that the efforts of the MPs and the resistance of the opposition in the parliament has given a strong signal, according to him, not only for the internationals, but also for the Albanians.
In an interview for "Syri TV", Paloka said that Prime Minister Rama has turned the country into a dictatorship, not respecting the law or the Constitution.
"From the denunciations we have made, if this country has not reached a crypto-dictatorship, it is in its final steps. And when I say we, I'm not just talking about the MPs because this is not the fight of the opposition MPs, 50 MPs of the opposition can't and can't afford such a fight and it's not even a fight of only the opposition, I have considering over 600 thousand Albanians who voted for the opposition in the last elections, this is a fight of all Albanians. As soon as it is understood by those who are not engaged in the opposition but who really feel that we are moving rapidly towards a dictatorial regime, they must react.
All excuses must fall and we all have one goal and that is to save pluralism and democracy. Citizens must understand that imagine what a model like Edi Rama can do to ordinary citizens when he treats the opposition in this way.
What Rama is doing to citizens is real, to businesses and everyone else, we have a sick person, a madman who does what he wants, he doesn't ask about the law or the Constitution, nor about the minimum rules of citizenship, but does whatever he wants. it fills his mind, he has destroyed businesses, he has destroyed the lives of citizens, whole families and everything. The efforts of the deputies and our resistance in the parliament has given a strong signal not only to the internationals, but what is more important to the Albanians as well ", said Paloka.
