The deputy of the Democratic Party, Tomor Alizoti, said that the charges brought against Sali Berisha are intended to attack political pluralism in Albania. According to him, the investigative file on the privatization of the former "Partizani" complex seems more opinion than concrete facts.

"SPAK should have investigated the port of Durrës, the 17 decisions about the incinerators, should have also investigated the Theater and the Mcgonigal case and then come to the opposition. The political annihilation of important opposition figures endangers political pluralism and empowers the majority. I don't call it a blow against Ahmetaj. How can the deputy prime minister with almost half a billion dollars cross the borders of Albania and after he fled he was voted in the Parliament. Why are they in a hurry in the case of Mr. Berisha?

They leave me with a taste that is tendentious. I have a concern; when the justice institutions hit the prime minister in office. If they call him, I will believe him. If this very serious institution has this kind of drafting form that resembles some kind of opinion and there are no serious accusations, this is ridiculous. With what it is doing, SPAK does not resemble the American justice but the justice of 50 years ago. The measure against Berisha is a violation of the Constitution. SPAK says that this type of law made by the Prime Minister of Albania has favored his son-in-law.

The prosecutor here takes the status of the Constitutional Court. The prosecutor's accusation is ridiculous and tendentious. This does not hold. First of all, it is a media show to undo the Kosovo issue, the Durrës port affair.
