Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha sued the judge who filed the charges against him and his son-in-law for abuse of office. It was his lawyers who announced that they have reported Irena Gjoka, with the argument that she violated the Constitution by imposing a security measure on Berisha.

" Today, a complaint was made to SPAK against the judge for the criminal offense of abuse of office. Since the decision contradicts the Constitution. We requested the dismissal of judge Irena Gjoka and the trial was interrupted to consider this request ", said lawyer Genc Gjokutaj.
