Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha convened the Reestablishment Presidency this Monday, where he announced the continuation of the opposition action.
In his speech, Berisha continued the accusations against SPAK that by order of Prime Minister Rama, he is hitting the opposition to destroy it.
Berisha asked the Presidency to organize at the base and start meetings to fight for democracy in the country.
"All this is happening before our eyes. Now it's time for battle! Now is the time to rise!
Now is the time that whoever thinks and believes that they should fight for democracy in this country, for dignity in this country, that without democracy there is no dignity. Never!
We must rise!
We can't accept… we started this, no one can relate to what happened. What happened is another proof of those factors that forced us to declare the battle without return.
The battle without return must be organized.
The battle without return requires sacrifices from every democrat.
I am convinced that the problems facing the Democrats are very painful, they are very deep, they are very big.
But there is no other choice but to mobilize, to stand up, to fight!
Otherwise, the longer it drags on, the deeper the crisis becomes. The more desperate the situation becomes.
So my message is this today: my message is to do everything, to spread throughout the country in a dialogue, in an emergency. I said once again that this is the last chapter and these have no end at all because this does not stop at the battle of annihilation of the opposition.
But even the opposition will never stop in its resistance with all forms to protect democracy and national interest.
It never happens in the world that a summit is used against the other half of the nation. That a state visit be used to request the cancellation of visas for the other half of the nation.
There are never such traitors who allow themselves such attitudes as Edi Rama.
We can no longer sit idly by. This situation requires an answer, I believe we agree.
So let's disperse in a meeting with our base, with this call: We must start the battle, the parliamentarians have started the battle. They will stay in the parliament, they will not leave the parliament, but they will stay there until their full rights are restored.
And PD will stay as long as Albanians vote freely.
