Lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu stated that there seems to be an alignment between the opposition led by Sali Berisha and the government.
The opposition seems ready to cooperate to approve the resolution, but according to Spahi, it will cooperate only if it is convinced that neither Berisha nor Meta will be affected by the new law.
" It seems that there is an almost official and institutional rapprochement between the Rama government and Berisha's opposition. This was formalized first with the amnesty, secondly with the investigation commission of TIMS where the "Reestablishment" group allowed Edi Rama not to be investigated and not to be in the commission as a witness and thirdly a message was issued through the vice president of this party, where Gazment Bardhi has issued a positive message to vote in favor of the resolution as an opportunity for factorization and institutionalization to become part of this second reform.
This opposition group has shown that they are ready to cooperate with the government and SPAK, but they will not vote until they are convinced that they will not be harmed by this agreement. As they may still be skeptical of the purpose of the international factor and look behind the scenes. If there will be interference for the decriminalization law, for the central election commission, for the immunity of deputies, for the exclusion of parliamentary groups, here the opposition may hesitate. The opposition will test if from this cooperation with Rama, the majority and the internationals, they will see if Berisha and Meta are harmed, if not they will vote for the resolution ", said Spahiu to Erla Mëhilli.
