Lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu said that the arrest of Vangjush Dako was not a coincidence, as according to him it came after the statements of the American Embassy.
In an interview for "Top Story" he said that today the former mayor of Durrës has simply taken the measure of arrest in prison, but according to him, from today on, problems will begin for Dako.

The coincidence happened 48 hours after Saimir Tahiri was released, 48 hours after the message from the American embassy. We are dealing with a criminal offense that was committed in 2011. I mentioned some special political, social and legal circumstances. I think it's not a coincidence. It is not a coincidence that after 13 accusations no other measures have been taken, it is happening right now. We are accused of abuse of office. We must understand that Vangjushi has not pleaded guilty, a security measure has been imposed, the most severe measure being imprisonment. After these actions come the problems ", the lawyer added.
