"He who is caught should not speak", Lubonja about Dako's arrest:

Analyst Fatos Lubonja, discussing the arrest of the former mayor of Durrës Vangjush Dako, said that many people close to Prime Minister Rama are being discreet.

In an interview for the show "Open" on "News 24", he said that the main question that should be asked regarding the case according to him is who initiated this arrest, justice or politics? According to him, the only possibility is American pressure.

" It is the question of who is the protagonist of this event. Justice or politics? This is a culture of propaganda and appearances by this regime that controls justice. The question is who does the propaganda, Rama, the Americans or SPAK. Is it Edi Rama who is afraid of the Americans who have legitimized him or what? I see the question here, but there are also contradictions. Rama's closest people are being discredited. It was Tahiri, Lefter Koka, Arben Ahmatejn, Dakon now. The question is whether Rama cares or is being squeezed by something or someone. If he is 100% in control, why should Rama let them in, so it should be someone else like the Americans ", said Lubonja.

Lubonja also said that there is an unwritten law in the state mafia, that some people must be sacrificed, but that many will not be punished.

"He who is caught should not speak, should not be punished. We will sacrifice some. The question is why should they be sacrificed? There are people who have not done these things, they have even done more. The law between them is we don't let you go but you don't let us go either.

We are dealing with a state mafia that cannot be dismantled easily because justice is also a part of it that does not investigate and does not go any further" , he added.
