Edi Rama was prepared for a sensational anti-American speech, but it did not have the expected media coverage. He was prepared, as it is learned, because he used his power to be present, while protocol did not foresee the participation of the prime minister.
In all likelihood, and as was clearly seen in body language, the US charge d'affaires in Tirana, Nancy VanHorn, would not attend the meeting to announce the American company as the winner for the wind farm, if the prime minister were present.
Rama has announced that he will be present at the last moment, while Chief Diplomat VanHorn clearly showed her annoyance.
Openly, the Washington representative in Tirana did not look at the Albanian prime minister throughout the event, which was broadcast live, outside of protocol expectations.
Mrs. VanHorn's eyes represented a clear diplomatic and political stance, not her own, but that of the American government. A flagrant stance, which is soon expected to materialize in a decision, as they say, very strong.
A decision that Edi Rama is not only expecting, but according to sources, has openly stated that it will come next week. However, Edi Rama gave a speech that was nothing more than a synoptic tableau against "American imperialism."
Rama openly challenged the US, saying that Xi Jinping's China sees Albania as "organic honey."
He directly informed Ambassador VanHorn to report to Washington that Edi Rama was heading to China.
The reason for this synoptic picture is obvious: while waiting for the blow from Washington, Edi Rama is letting the US know that he is taking Albania towards China, which according to him treats him like "honey". As if Albania were Kristaq Rama's private property, although the country is a member of NATO and a strategic ally of the US. In a country with normal media and opposition, the Prime Minister should be under accusation of national treason, or at least there should be an institutional initiative to consider Rama a person who does not represent the citizens, but who holds this position out of personal distress.
From today, Albanian politics must have a clear strategic stance regarding the alliance with the US and relations with China. If Beijing treats Albania like "honey", why has the Prime Minister not spoken about this issue before, but uses information of national importance for private interests?
Has Rama notified the majority, the President of the Republic and other institutions? As was seen from the statement, he has not notified anyone.
But why does China consider Albania "honey"? What does China want and with whom has the prime minister negotiated?
All this has happened because Edi Rama knows that the US has finally burned him as a political card. But Albanian politics must stop Rama from burning Albania, just because Trump has burned his political career.

Një murator sot kur pija kafe e shpjegoi kështu qëndrmin e Kryeministrit. Ky nuk ka përdorur plumçe fare, spostou e spostou muri.... ,tashti nuk ka kohë ta prish murin dhe ta rindëtoi nga e para. Berisha po saboton hapur opozitarizmin dhe qendresen e shqiptareve ndaj qeverise me te korruptuar, degraduar e me shkaterrimtare qe mund te kete pare historia e ketij vendi, Berisha tenton ti shpetoje burgut dhe te mbroje pasurite e vjedhura. Kete ai po mundohet ta beje permes kesaj qeverie dhe personalisht Rames. Rama po keqperdor pushtetin e madh qe ka vene nen kontroll me ndihmen edhe te Berishes. Megavjedhjet e tij dhe bandes qe kontrollon jane ne rrezik dhe prandaj lufton me cdo mjet te mbroje pushtetin absolut, te mbroje korrupsionin e tij, te Beles dhe Mirlindes me kordinatorin Agasi. Per kete eshte i gateshem te fali gjysmen e Shqiperise, te perzere edhe pjesen e mbetur te popullsise dhe shqiperia te ripopullohet me te huaj. Shpresojme qe ShBA dhe strukturat perkatese e kane kuptuar kete stategji Rame-Berishe. Shpresojme qe ata te veprojne ne kohe e me efikasitet qe kjo bande te marri vendin e merituar.
