The head of the LZHK, Dashamir Shehi, has stated that SPAK will help remove Prime Minister Edi Rama's government from power.
Shehi said that processes such as SPAK have occurred in several Balkan countries, where he took the example of Gruevski in North Macedonia.
Shehi said that he had doubts whether this process (Rama's removal from power) would also take place in Albania with the same scheme, that is, through the Special Prosecution Office, or with the method that the US followed in Venezuela to capture Maduro.
Ironically, Shehi then said on the A2 CNN show 'Off the Record' that if a scheme like that in Venezuela were followed in Albania, the US would need 2 helicopters. His statement caused laughter in the studio, as political scientist Ermal Hasimja joked that the US would need a steamship to catch the corrupt in Albania.
Excerpts from the studio discussion:
Shehi : At least this small group has produced something positive, let's support this, because this is the Albanian element. Plus, international experience has also shown, even the Balkan one. How did the one who was there, Gruevski, leave Macedonia? With this kind of process. In a way, with prosecutors. They caught him for a car. He may have stolen 30 trains. But they found him, justice did it. The same thing in Montenegro, in Croatia, in Romania. It helped the rotation, so. Let's not even say about our Kosovo, because more or less the same scheme. Now I hope that... Now this intervention of the internationals through justice will be soft and we will wait a long time, or will a helicopter come like there in Venezuela, which is short. I even say that for here we need not one, but two helicopters.
Hasimja : We need a steamer here.
