Lawyer Romeo Kara spoke about the statements of the head of the Freedom Party regarding the union of former prime minister Sali Berisha and Gazment Bardhi.
According to him, Meta is a dark part of politics and that together with Berisha they have extorted Albania.
"Meta used a metaphor that he himself did not believe. If there is a black page to extort Albania, it is made by these. Meta is a dark part of politics. He is in this policy together with Berisha and Basha. Meta knows that every person who will join Berisha who has received final non grata from those who are guarantors of Albania, have put the seal. I believe that Meta will soon join his destiny. They don't start with principles but they start from the market and they want a destabilized Albania to escape from facing justice", he said in an interview in "Ora e Fundit".
Yesterday, Ilir Meta spoke about the union of DP and the protest. The latter was asked directly if he will be on the square on February 20, but did not give an answer. He said that PL supports the protest, but left open the possibility that it may not be part of it.
"The Freedom Party has been and will always be in support of all civil and political protests, in defense of democracy, in defense of political pluralism, which seek to give a voice to all Albanians who are suffering the consequences of this narco-dictatorship", said Meta.
