The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, said today in the Assembly that the opposition is using the situation of September 24 as an instrument to attack the Prime Minister of Albania.
Among other things, Balla said that the orientation of Kosovo and Albania towards the West is the future for security.
Regarding the adoption of the Resolution for Kosovo, the Minister of the Interior said that this is the right step for Albania.
" Albania and the Assembly today strongly condemn the September 24 attack in Kosovo, this act is a criminal attack and is a security threat with consequences for our common Europe. The killing of an officer in the line of duty made this act even more reprehensible.
Today they are facing attempts to interfere with a prosperous future. Albania's official position through Rama is correct. There are some here, supposedly great patriots, who, out of anger, use the situation of September 24 as an instrument to attack the Prime Minister of Albania. One had 10 minutes to attack the prime minister and did not condemn the attack. As if his stomach was opened. Albania, duly represented by Rama's government, has been and will be in support of Kosovo.
The higher Albania rises at the international level, the greater the support for Kosovo will be. Albania has never been higher than it is today. The orientation of Kosovo and Albania towards the West is the future for security. Albania has been and is supporting Kosovo.
Today, the Assembly voting with a unanimous vote this resolution already presented by the Kodheli college is the right step we should take ", said Balla.
