Lulzim Basha continued his tour of meetings this Saturday, stopping in Lezhë. But what stood out is that Basha appeared again dressed as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. A few days ago, Berisha attacked Basha and mocked him for his clothing. But today the former leader of the Democratic Party responded by wearing the same outfit. Also, he did not spare the attacks and accusations against Berisha.
" The war that started within our family for one person's personal interests damaged the interests of democrats and Albanians. I did my best, taking a step back to stop this fight, but nothing changed. The war continued, accusations, deceptions against me and anyone who did not agree that we sacrificed relations with the USA and Great Britain for the interests of one person, was declared an enemy, sold, bought, hostage and all kinds of attacks.
I have not returned with the same language, not because I have nothing to say, but because I knew that such a war would destroy the Democratic Party.
What I hoped for with my withdrawal and silence did not happen! Things got even worse. May 14 made it happen!
But today it is clear what the Democratic Party needs, what Albanians expect from it. There is no doubt that the Democratic Party is the only force that will bring change in Albania. Of course, as has happened before, with the support of the USA, Great Britain and the EU ", said Basha.
