Deputy of the Democratic Party, Ervin Salianji, spoke about the current political issues within the party, including the debate about who is the head of the DP parliamentary group.
He said that the head of the DP parliamentary group is Gazment Bardhi, as he was chosen by the majority of the democratic deputies.
"Bardhi is the chairman of the group, Açka is the chairman of the media commission, he has always been, in this capacity they invited him... there is no news here. We are dealing with something that is universally known. There is no need for the Assembly to recognize Bardhi as the head of the group, because he is not chosen by them but by the will of the DP deputies.
We will file tomorrow also in writing, that the head of the DP parliamentary group is Bardhi. Do we recognize Berisha as the leader of the DP? I know that Berisha is the personality with the most votes in the opposition, an inevitable factor to make the opposition victorious against the government. DP is united", said Salianji.
What if the Assembly recognizes Flutura Ačka as the chairwoman of the DP Parliamentary Group?
"There are some things that even logic cannot support. If he creates a new parliamentary group with 7 MPs, with a different name, then it's fine. I don't have it with Mrs. Açka because I have respect, but I have it with Basha who creates these letters" , answered Salianji.
