The chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, spoke about the devaluation of the euro and the consequences that the European currency has caused in the domestic market.
He said that if measures are not taken to intervene in the market, the crisis will be irreparable. Among other things, Meta said that the fluctuation of the euro is the cause of the crisis provoked by the flow of dirty money.
"The decline in exports is an alarm bell not only for exports, but also for thousands of other businesses that operate in the textile and mineral industries. The consequences with the exchange rate have also included medium and small businesses. They are associated with export businesses. About 1.4 million Albanian citizens who benefit from immigrants' remittances have been significantly damaged. The Albanian consumer has not benefited from the devaluation of the euro, but only the government and a group of exporters that are bankrupting the country. It is criminal that this government does not react to these consequences for the economy, of this crisis provoked by the flows of dirty money", said Meta in a statement to the media.
