Analyst Ilir Kulla on the show 'Të Pashoq' considered what Edi Rama is doing by promising an EU passport as an electoral card, since this issue is in the hands of the European Union.
Kulla said that the EU will either disintegrate or expand, as it can no longer mock the Balkans, as it has done so far.
" I think the issue of membership does not depend on Edi Rama, but on the EU. The Union can no longer make fun of the Balkans, it will either expand or disintegrate. There is no other way."
If the prospect of EU membership for us Albanians falls, for us Albanians there is only one solution left, unification into an Albanian federal state. We do not have many options, either a quick membership, or we will look at alternative solutions, since small countries have small markets.
We are not like Serbia, which has a great ally like Russia, our great ally the USA, has other problems, has its attention on other issues. If we have a failure of integration, we will have a return of nationalism in the Balkans.
"The entire membership process for the entire Balkans would not cost more than 50 billion euros ," Kulla said.
