Begaj decrees Adea Pirden as Minister of State for Public Administration and Anticorruption

President Bajram Begaj has decreed Adea Pirden as Minister of State for Public Administration and Anticorruption.

Adea Pirdeni was proposed by Rama on January 11, where he also announced the creation of a new ministry, which will oversee issues for Public Administration and Anticorruption.

Adea Pirdeni, has served as Deputy Minister of Justice.

According to Prime Minister Edi Rama, Pirdeni has stood out with her leadership and professionalism in the role of deputy chief negotiator with the European Union, as well as in covering the major chapter of the Judiciary and Fundamental Rights.

He said that at this stage of Albania, where the country is working on the chapters of negotiations for EU membership, a new approach to public administration is required.
