The former deputy of the DP, Belind Kelliçi, in a statement to the media, stated that the real owner of the ghost incinerator in Tirana is the mayor Erion Veliaj.
Kelliçi said that Veliaj puts the entire structure of the municipality at the service of the land business. Among other things, Kelliçi called on SPAK to stop the theft.
According to him, Erion Veliaj is the only one who, as the owner, was given 1 million euros from the Tirana Incinerator's money, in the 2019 elections.
"We have already entered the fourth month of our intensive communication with the structure of SPAK, regarding the affair of the century, that of the phantom incinerator of Tirana, which still continues to steal money from your taxes every day, a full 120 million euros until today.
Regarding the denunciations and publication of indisputable facts from our side, the real owner of this corrupt enterprise, the Mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj, has reacted only once, after the arrest of his right-hand man, Taulant Tuša, whom Veliaj sacrificed himself to save his own skin.

Erion Veliaj is the only one who, as the owner, gives orders on which tower should pay for the deposit of inerts and which should not. We recall here the e-mails for the Arlis Construction company, whose owner has built 7 floors without permission in front of the mayor's office. E-mails for the tower behind the Clock. Emails for the National Theatre.
Erion Veliaj is the only one who, as the owner, was given 1 million euros from the Tirana Incinerator's money, in the 2019 elections.
Erion Veliaj is the only one who, as the owner, paid the incinerator a bill of 300,000 euros to get cars in favor of the Municipal Police.

We have already entered the fourth year of investigations on this issue, we have filed hundreds of pages and documents with SPAK, so today we again call on SPAK to act urgently by stopping this theft, canceling this corrupt contract and decide as soon as possible before the legal responsibility, the real owner of the Incinerator of Tirana, Erion Veliajn. From today, responsible for every penny of abuse of this contract, are the prosecutors who, with their inaction, are allowing this flagrant theft to happen" , Kelliçi declared.
