The former chairman of the DP in Kukës, Ibsen Elezi, has commented on Meta and Berisha's accusations against SPAK and its leader Altin Dumani.
He described them as normal actions of people who feel guilty and want to protect themselves, because according to him they will end up in prison.
Elezi said that Meta and Berisha make these accusations, because if they go to prison, they risk losing everything they have earned so far.
"They are using every means possible. These are normal actions of people who feel guilty and want to protect themselves. However, SPAK has great support from public opinion. In relation to the politicians, SPAK has realized a part of their expectation. It is normal for them to make threats, they have aggressive behavior because they will end up in prison and then risk losing everything they have earned for years," said Elezi.
He emphasizes that there should be clean and not discredited figures in the opposition. Elezi added that the position should have done its internal vetting.
"The opposition does not have a strategy for what the Albanian society requires. Strategies are not created at the moment but should have been announced in time. People no longer trust the opposition, there are discredited political figures. We need figures who are not discredited in public opinion. They have fundamentally deformed the purpose of the opposition, the opposition should do its internal vetting and build an elite of political figures to be clean and the parties should do this themselves" , he said for "Report TV". .
