Former deputy of the Democratic Party Azgan Haklaj said that Gazment Bardhi has become Berisha's hostage.
According to Haklaj, despite the fact that Bardhi once declared that he will fight for the merger of the DP and if he sits next to Berisha he will resign, he did not keep any promises.
"Gazment Bardhi said; I will fight for the unification of the Democratic Party and if I sit down with Sali Berisha, I will resign from the Democratic Party, " said Haklaj.
He brought to attention the exclusion of 11 deputies from the official Democratic Party that came out after September 2, emphasizing that that decision was made in January 2022, when former Prime Minister Berisha attacked the headquarters of the Democratic Party.
