The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, declared that it is drugs that appoint ministers, police directors and MPs.
"It is drugs that appoint ministers, that appoint police directors, the prosecutor, MPs, that decide at all levels," said Berisha, while emphasizing that its corruptive force is terrible.
The leader of the DP also stated that international observers, in their preliminary report, told Albanians that the elections were not fair and were held under unequal conditions.
"38 thousand square meters of public land were given to the Troplini cartel with 5 towers and 12 buildings in the Niko Dovana area in Durrës for the work they did. Wherever you hear the tower, there is drugs. There are millions of drugs behind them. But, in this situation, we managed to present it, to stamp it in some international documents, it is an achievement for every Albanian, it is not simply the power of drugs.
Its corrupting power is terrible, but we are very grateful to those who voted for those important resolutions in which the electoral farce was warned. We engaged with all our potential with a regime that never accepts a free vote.
"International observers, in their preliminary report, told Albanians and the world that the elections were not fair, that they were held under unequal conditions, they listed the major problems of these elections, they listed the use of all the human, financial, and logistical potential of the state to get the vote. They listed the engagement of criminal groups to control the vote ," Berisha said at the meeting of the Party Presidency.
