The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, stated that Prime Minister Edi Rama has another residence in Dardha, Korça, in addition to the one in Surrel.
The statement was made during a "live" conversation on social media, following a question from a citizen regarding the publication of images of Dardha by the prime minister on social media. Berisha said that Rama's presence in Dardha is not accidental and that his connection with this area is ancient.
Berisha then ironically commented on the public debate of recent days, saying that regardless of location, Rama cannot avoid political responsibility for issues related to governance and the role of Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku.
"Edi Rama had a house in Dardhe and then pretended to have sold it. So, it turns out that in addition to Surrel, he also has a residence in Dardhe," said Berisha.
According to Berisha, the Dardha case is added to the list of issues that, according to him, raise questions about the transparency and positions of the prime minister, while the political debate continues to remain focused on governance responsibility.
