Democratic deputy Gazment Bardhi is conducting an official visit to the United States of America.
He has held a meeting with Congressman Pete Sessions.
According to an announcement that Bardhi himself made, he and the congressman discussed issues related to Albania's interest and the strategic partnership between the two countries.
"At the American Congress, I had the pleasure of meeting Congressman Pete Sessions, with whom we shared issues of interest to Albania and the strategic partnership between our two countries. Albania is lucky to have the United States of America as an ally and this will continue to remain intact forever", Bardhi writes in his reaction.
According to the deputy, despite the problems of our country, the USA has always been by Albania's side.
In his writing, Bardhi mentions problems such as corruption, the lack of the rule of law or functional democracy.
"The USA has always been present to help us in our journey for a democratic and developed Albania", Gazment Bardhi concludes his reaction.
