The situation in the DP seems to be heating up. While the government is caught up in scandals and the prime minister does not know where to put his head, there seems to be a leadership clash in the DP. Ervin Salianji has begun to significantly worry Sali Berisha and now a competition has begun between them.
Both have started their meetings at the base and, ironically, today they went on the air at the same time. Sali Berisha met with the Korça Democrats, while Ervin Salianji stopped in Shkodra. Both had left their meetings at 18:00 and, also, almost at the same time they took the floor, "duplicating" each other. So, even though for Berisha Salianji has self-excluded himself, there is a kind of concern. In PR language, the fact that Berisha goes on air at the same time means that he is trying to disrupt the meeting of his 'rival' and get attention for himself.
Salianji did not spare the attacks. Before the meeting, a message was sent to the Democrats in Shkodra, asking them to boycott the meeting. But the hall was full and it seems that even the people of Shkodra are letting the doctor down.
" Yesterday, you and the Democrats were faced with a message that has become routine, coming on behalf of the DP and saying that the meetings will be held by Benet Beci and criminal groups, by a number that is paid by the DP and by us. They have not congratulated you on the holidays, nor on the protests, they are calling on you not to participate in the meetings. They will not succeed and cannot succeed. In the case of Shkodra, Beci was not appointed by us, nor by you, but was appointed by former leaders of the DP. In every city, and in every city we are saying this: the mistakes that the DP has made have caused it to be in the state it is in, due to unfair appointments. Beci, from being a director of the DP, is today the mayor of the SP ", said Salianji.
Berisha, for his part, somewhat avoided Salianji and attempted to make a "mea culpa", stating that the DP has many mistakes. However, he blamed Rama, since according to him, there is no choice with him.
" We, absolutely, in our history have had mistakes, we have had flaws, we have had defects. We have recognized them, but he has not learned a lesson. We are invincible. We are invincible. Yes, yes. We are invincible. Also, we have proven it to you. We have proven it to the Albanians. When he brought out the tanks, we set fire to his tanks. When he killed us, we drove them out of the country, the crime party. When he isolated us, he did everything, we triumphed and you see where he is and where he will end up today. We are a party of peace. Peace is our strength, but we are invincible. We stand. In the most critical moments, this party has had as its inspiration and motto: Let us die, let us live for freedom. Yes. And precisely for this. And precisely for this, we have lived for freedom and we will live for freedom and we will win ," he said.
So, it seems like Salianji is creating a circle of support around him and, next year, the situation seems to be getting stronger. The DP will enter an internal election process and Berisha has warned that he has no plans to leave. /Pamphlet
