MP Dashnor Sula has had a heated debate with journalist Anri Bala regarding the arrest of Sali Berisha and the management of such situations by the justice system.
Bala opened the debate with a direct question, demanding to know why Berisha was not restrained by the authorities after the "house arrest" measure was taken, reminding MP Sula that Berisha should also have been banned from activities on social networks.
"I have a question, when Berisha was placed under house arrest, the arrest included the requirement not to appear publicly on social networks ," said Bala, expressing his concern about the lack of control over the former prime minister.
Sula's response was harsh, denying the excessive treatment of Berisha. He responded by ironically saying that Berisha's problem is not that serious.
"Why is he the problem? Who is afraid of Berisha?", said Sula, responding to Bala and adding that there is no reason to be afraid of the former prime minister.
The debate took another turn when Bala asked about the searches at Berisha's house and his possible wealth. He suggested that after the possible search, the justice authorities did not take anything from Berisha's house that could be considered expensive.
"Why didn't they search Berisha's house and his wife's clothes? Tell me about a piece of furniture they took from Berisha's house that could be expensive. If Berisha were free, he would sell lettuce for what Dashi says ," the journalist told "News 24".
