Since January 3 of this year, it has become routine for the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, to appear at the premises of the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, as part of the security measure against him for the "Partizani" file.
He enters the SPAK building, leaves a note for the outgoing head of this structure, Altin Dumani, and almost always holds a long communication with journalists where he does not spare accusations against the head of the Special Prosecution Office.
Berisha says that Dumani has hidden assets, mentioning about 4 apartments, while he says that Dumani has stated that he lives in a rented apartment with his father-in-law. The leader of the DP says that with a state salary you cannot become an apartment owner, accusing the chief prosecutor of fraud.
"He is not the last, together with Irena Gjoka he has entered the gallery of shame of the history of Albanian justice. Irena has many others and Altini has others, but big ones, with the decision of the Criminal Court, taking away, taking power from the justice system, for the security measure for Balluk.
Now Dumani is closing it with a black face, with hidden assets. I have full proof. I am a former president and former prime minister and, in fact, I guarantee that no employee of this state, including the de facto president and prime minister, has 4 apartments with the state salary. He declares that I am renting from my father-in-law. Do you understand what a fraud he is. If he said that his father-in-law gave his daughter an apartment as a gift, I would accept it. But the apartment was built, he is a shareholder and says I am renting from my father-in-law. He found these owners with 3 apartments. Who can have them with the state salary? I have only bought 40 m² of construction with the state salary, without a loan", said Berisha.
