The Socialist Party Parliamentary Group is holding its next meeting at the Presidency of the Assembly.

Socialist leader Edi Rama also joined the meeting.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure, Belinda Balluku, also returned to the SP group meeting, appearing publicly for the first time since the Constitutional Court reinstated her.

The Constitutional Court on December 12 decided to reinstate Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, after agreeing to consider Prime Minister Edi Rama's appeal against the decision of the Special Court.

"By majority vote, the suspension of the implementation of judicial decisions no. 118, dated 19.11.2025 and no. 120, dated 22.11.2025 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, for the part that ordered the imposition and extension of the prohibitory measure "Suspension of the exercise of a public duty or service" against citizen Belinda Balluku, according to Article 45 of the organic law of the Court. The suspension decision will be sent for publication in the Official Gazette,"  the Constitutional Court announced.

The Special Court issued two security measures for Balluk after finding him a defendant, suspension from duty and a ban on leaving the country. The government says the suspension is an interference with the powers of the Executive and is seeking the repeal of this measure.

Balluku was named as a defendant for the procedures in the Llogara tunnel tender and is under investigation for the tender for lot 4 of the Grand Ring Road.
