Berisha: The transformation of Skanderbeg's appearance, a humiliating anti-national act!

The head of the DP, Sali Berisha, has described the transformation of the bust of Skenderbeu that was inaugurated in the Arbëresh Community, in Italy, as a humiliating anti-national act.

According to Berisha, replacing the face of the national hero with that of the drug trafficker, Edi Rama, is a desecration of the figure of Skenderbeu, history and the Albanian nation.

For Berisha, such an act is the same as replacing Bolivar's face with Escobar's face.

" A humiliating anti-national act! The transformation of Skenderbeu's appearance, the replacement of the face of our national hero Gjergj Kastrioti Skenderbeu with the face of the drug trafficker Edi Rama is a desecration of Skenderbeu's image, our history and the entire Albanian nation. This would be the same as replacing Bolivar's face with Escobar's," writes Berisha.
