Socialist Party MP and candidate for MP in the Tirana district, Blerina Gjylameti, spoke today from the News24 studio about the political atmosphere in the context of the May 11 elections, as well as some of the concerns raised by citizens and businesses during the campaign.
Gjylameti emphasized that one of the most frequent requests he has heard from small businesses is that Sunday be declared a holiday.
"Bakeries, grocers and many other small businesses are asking for this. They want time for family and for themselves. The economy today is different and we are no longer in the conditions of previous years," she said.
According to the socialist MP, in addition to the need for rest, this initiative would create better working conditions and strengthen employees' rights. She also mentioned the tourism sector as one of the priorities that is expected to develop significantly, thanks to fiscal incentives for agritourism and other service providers in this field.
