Agron Shehaj, the leader of the Opportunity Party, has openly declared his ambition to be at the head of the Albanian government.
In an interview on the show "Log." on News 24, Shehaj emphasized that he wants to become prime minister, but added that more important than names is the mission carried by the Opportunity Party.
"Whether in the future it will be me, Erald Kapri, Barbara Doda or another young politician at the head of the government, that remains to be seen – but the main goal is clear: building a clean and integrity-based government. The Opportunity Party aims to increase votes."
"I want to be prime minister. When you create a political party, and you have a difficult path, normally you aim to be the head of government in the future. The Opportunity Party aims to give Albanians an uncorrupted government. Whether I will be prime minister or Erald Kapri, or Barbara Doda or some new politician, I don't know, but we want to give Albania an uncorrupted government ," he said.
