BKH 'occupied' the Prime Minister's Office, Berisha: Rama
Leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has reacted after Prime Minister Edi Rama's statement, in which he said that officers from the National Bureau of Investigation (BKH) have gone to the Prime Minister's Office premises.

Berisha stated that he had denounced this fact earlier, emphasizing that BKH officers had appeared at Rama's building to seize documents related to criminal activity.

During a conversation with his followers on Facebook, the DP leader also stated that Rama obstructed the BKH officers and forced them to disarm, as he was afraid they would arrest him.

"Rama obstructed them, I denounced the blockade he made for the BKH officers to confiscate criminal documents. When they went the next time, Rama demanded their disarmament. He suffers from phobias. He thought that because of what he did, they could arrest him and told them to leave the patllaket, as he says, which never happened," Berisha said.

In his statement, Berisha also touched on the Llogara tunnel issue, claiming that Prime Minister Rama is more involved in this affair than Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku. According to him, Rama has acted in collaboration with the head of the Albanian Roads and Infrastructure Agency (ARRSH) on the tender issue and is trying to protect himself.

"If Lubi Balluku has become clear in the Llogara tunnel that he acted with the head of the ARRSH for the tender, Rama is much more connected in this affair than Lubi Balluku. Rama has taken Lubi and taken her to Ankara. Rama is actually only protecting himself," Berisha said.
