DP leader Sali Berish has attacked Prime Minister Edi Rama over the Constitutional Court's decision, which reinstated Minister Balluku.
In a conversation with citizens on social media, Berisha accused Rama of direct interference in the decision-making of the Constitutional Court, describing the decision as a "license to steal."
According to him, the decision was not made in the courtroom, but "was written in Edi Rama's office," under pressure and with illegal interference.
" In an act that directly violates the personal interest of every Albanian citizen, Edi Rama forced the Constitutional Court to sign the license for thefts by him and his ministers. That decision of the Constitutional Court written in Edi Rama's office, after extraordinary pressures and the presentation of the most staggering amounts, in the truest sense of the word, is a license for Edi Rama, his family, his ministers, to steal, to steal as many Albanians as possible. The decision written in Edi Rama's offices, surpasses, overtakes, the entire Albanian judicial system, which has the right, in accordance with the Constitution, to review security measures, the Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court. By annulling Lubi Balluku's suspension, and giving her 1 and a half months to falsify, manipulate every document of her colossal thefts with Edi Rama directly and with others, the Constitutional Court de facto gave Edi Rama the license to "Steal without embarrassment, steal as much as you want ," he said.
