The Chairman of the "Together Movement", Arlind Qori, spoke about Endri Shabani and his election as People's Advocate.
Invited to the "Terminal" studio, Qori stated that Shabani became the People's Advocate after an agreement between Prime Minister Edi Rama and the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha.
Further, the leader of the "Together Movement" said that Shabani's election as People's Advocate will affect SPAK and will affect the Justice Reform.
"Endri Shabanin was not made the People's Advocate by Edi Rama alone. Edi Rama did it with Sali Berisha and this is part of a broader Rama-Berisha agreement, which will affect, I fear, the Justice Reform, to prevent SPAK from suspending corrupt politicians from office and taking pre-trial detention measures," said Qori.
Qori also added that Shabani is a member of a coalition that includes Berisha along with other opposition parties, except for the "Joint Movement".
"Endri Shabani, as we speak today, is a member of a coalition that includes Mr. Berisha and all other opposition parties, except for the "Together Movement". When Mr. Binaj ran, Shabani, Lapaj and Berisha were part of a coalition. "De facto" they all have him in the coalition, they can curse him as much as they want, but they have him in the coalition. The alliance is factual and I do not understand this all-out hypocrisy to say that we have nothing to do with this person. Shabani was elected with the votes of the Rama-Berisha duo", emphasized Qori.
