Deputy Dashnor Sula was also in line with other colleagues. According to him, the decision of the Special Court of Appeal is a political service to harm the opposition at a time when we have entered the election period.
" The security measure "Compulsion to Appear" basically gives the opportunity to the investigators or the court to verify that the person under investigation/judgment is in Albania. This has value for an ordinary citizen, but not for the chairman of the Democratic Party, who starts his political/social activity before the investigators wake up. Dr. Berisha carries out all his activities in the presence of the media every day. It is easy for prosecutors and judges to verify his location at any moment of the day. In this context, it is clear as day that the measure taken is disproportionate and does not serve the justice process but the partisan one ," he writes.
According to Sula, at a time when the electoral engines are on, the court undertakes to deprive the Chairman of the Democratic Party of the right to meet the citizens two days a month.
