Democratic Party MP Ina Zhupa has spoken about the changes in the Rama government.
Zhupa was stopped due to non-implementation of the regulation by the Speaker of the Parliament, Lindita Nikolla. According to her, the opposition's request for a debate during the parliamentary session was legitimate and should be respected by the majority, but this majority no longer asks about laws and parliamentary regulations.
Zhupa did not fail to mention the violation of the Constitution by the President of the Republic in the case of the decree of Ervin Mete as minister, while this decree is not in accordance with the Constitution of the country.
"It is a unique case when the President of the Republic violated the Constitution. The President of the Republic could not decree Ervin Mete as a minister as long as Ervin Mete is, or was at least until today at 14:00 at lunch, Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of an independent institution such as the Financial Supervision Authority . So the moment the president receives a proposal, the minister has only one duty, to see that he fulfills the conditions to be a deputy and to be a minister, because the law states that anyone who fulfills the conditions to be a deputy can be a minister.
In this regard, he could not decree Ervin Meten as long as he was in incompatibility conditions, because he was simultaneously the chairman of an independent body. The decree of President Begaj is dated (9/9) and the dismissal from the Assembly is dated (11/9). So we have a decree for the Executive Director of AMF to be appointed as a minister. These are madness that can only happen in Albania," said Zhupa for "Syri TV".
