The head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has participated in the opening of the electoral campaign for the elections in the Municipality of Kukes, which will be repeated after the sexual scandal of the former mayor Gjici.
While presenting the candidate of the coalition "We win together", Emri Vata, Meta stated that Kukësi does not need the facades of corruption of Edi Rama, but dedicated leaders.
Meta emphasized that this city has become a champion of emigration and that producers and exporters are going bankrupt because of a government project.
"With their vote, the citizens of Kukës have the opportunity to condemn the alienation of the vote on May 14. It is a pity that 'Rruga e Kombit', despite having served our nation, unfortunately did not serve the Municipality of Kukës enough. Kukësi does not need Edi Rama's facades of corruption, but a dedicated leader who cooperates with the community and experts in all fields.
Kukësi is a champion for immigration, unfortunately, but the government has also emptied the pockets of citizens and the money brought by immigrants through exchange rate fluctuations.
Our producers and exporters are going bankrupt because of a project of Edi Rama's government. With your vote, you have the opportunity to condemn the alienation of votes on May 14, but at the same time give hope to your children and the young people of Kukës" , said Meta.
