After almost 2 months of "vacation", the MPs will return to their seats in Parliament. At the end of March, the doors of the Assembly were closed due to the election campaign, but now that everything is over and for 5 weeks, the current MPs will continue their work.

It should be noted that 83 of the current names will no longer be MPs in the new legislature. The strongest change has occurred in the SP parliamentary group, of which 45 MPs will no longer be part of Parliament. Meanwhile, it should be noted that from September, names such as Basha, Alibeaj, Majko, Kodheli, Duka, Shehi will be absent.

The session tomorrow will be held at 12:00 and there is no draft law on the agenda. However, debates are expected from the opposition, which accuses the Socialist Party of stealing the elections.

The work will last until July and during these 5 weeks, the focus is expected to be on the reporting of independent institutions. Undoubtedly, the greatest attention will be on SPAK and Altin Dumani. With the start of work tomorrow, the dates for the reports are expected to be set and Dumani is expected to "give an account" first to the Laws Committee and then to the plenary session.

This is expected to be Dumani's last confrontation with politics, as this year brings major changes to the SPAK leadership. Altin Dumani's term as chairman ends in December and the law does not allow him to run again.

It should be noted that facing Duman, there will be several names that have files with SPAK, starting with Sali Berisha, Fatmir Mediu, Flamur Noka, Luan Baçio, Asllan Dogjani, Olta Xhaçka, etc.

His report comes at a time when tensions are seen between the majority and SPAK. A few days ago, the government gave a series of recommendations to the Special Prosecution Office and this led to a clash between Dumani and the Minister of Justice. Meanwhile, one of the issues that Dumani is expected to raise during the report is what will be the fate of SPAK prosecutors.

For years, he has submitted a request to the Assembly, requesting that SPAK prosecutors be given the right to run for another position. The current law gives them a 9-year mandate without the right to run. Dumani has requested that this restriction be lifted, but to date no one has listened. Another request, coming from the EU, is that the head of SPAK be given the right to seek another mandate as leader. This too has not been ignored by the majority. It remains to be seen what will happen after September, as there are rumors that Rama will bring the "Xhafaj" commission into play, to duplicate SPAK. /Pamphlet
