"We discussed the current events in the region", Vucic "consults" with Rama

The Serbian President, Aleksandër Vucic and Edi Rama

Prime Minister Edi Rama met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic this Thursday during the summit of the European Political Community that is taking place in Chisinau, Moldova.

The news was given by the head of the Serbian state, who shared some photos on social networks.

Vucic also met with other state leaders of the Balkans, such as the president of Greece, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Macedonia, Dimitar Kovacevski and the Serbian member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović.

The focus of their discussions was the situation in the north of Kosovo.

"We in the region know best how important it is to jointly make every effort to preserve the hard-won peace and stability. We discussed the current events and the next steps that would contribute to finding a solution to the current difficult and serious situation, with the hope that reason will prevail, for the good of all," writes Vučič.
