A day after Prime Minister Edi Rama proposed the name of Elisa Spiropali for the chairperson of the assembly, after the resignation of Lindita Nikolla, SP deputies have started gathering signatures.
More than 30 MPs have signed for the proposal of Elisa Spiropalin as Speaker of the Assembly.
Today, Rama gathered the parliamentary group, where he thanked the ministers who were changed and left the government for the work done, but emphasized that now is the time to strengthen the work in the Parliament.
Today, the extraordinary parliamentary session was expected to take place at 18:00, where the new speaker of the Assembly, Elisa Spiropali, would be voted in and the decrees of President Bajram Begaj for the new ministers of the Rama government would be passed, but it has been postponed until tomorrow .
SP MPs were informed at the group meeting that the session will be postponed until tomorrow because the President has not yet decreed the changes in the government.
Sources from the Presidency indicate that the changes in the government are in the process of verification, while Prime Minister Rama has asked the deputies to be ready for any hour when they can be called.
