A day after the Congress of the Socialist Party, the chief socialist Edi Rama gathered the Parliamentary Group in the Presidency of the Assembly this Monday.

In the meeting, in addition to the socialist deputies, there were also the old ministers as well as the young ones who were proposed by the head of the government yesterday.

It is learned that at tonight's meeting, the socialists discussed the changes in the Government and the Assembly, as well as the preparations for next year's elections.

In the meeting like yesterday in the Congress, Rama had a series of criticisms for his deputies, saying that some of them did not do their job properly and do not deserve to be in the Assembly.

For this reason, he addressed them, saying that from today until April next year, they will be tested for a place on the lists of candidates for MP.

Ervin Mete, who was removed from the leadership of the Ministry of Finance, was not present at the meeting.

Meanwhile, the extraordinary parliamentary session that was expected to take place today at 18:00, where the new Speaker of the Assembly, Elisa Spiropali, would be voted in and the decrees of President Bajram Begaj for the new ministers of the Rama government would be passed, has been postponed to the day of tomorrow.

SP MPs were informed at the group meeting that the session will be postponed until tomorrow because the President has not yet decreed the changes in the government.

The presidency has announced that the changes in the government are in the process of verification, while Prime Minister Rama has asked the deputies to be ready for any hour when they can be called.

In the meeting where only Rama spoke, the head of the government thanked the replaced and dismissed ministers for the work done, but it is now known that he said it is time to strengthen the work in the Parliament.

So, yesterday the Prime Minister showed haste to personally submit the decrees for the new changes in the government to the Presidency, shortly after the end of the Congress of the Socialist Party.

Changes in government that were announced in Congress:

Ministry of the Interior - Taulant Balla leaves, Ervin Hoxha arrives

Ministry of Finance - Ervin Mete leaves, Petrit Malaj comes

Ministry of Defense - Niko Peleshi leaves, Pirro Vengu arrives

Ministry of State for Relations with the Parliament - Elisa Spiropali leaves, Taulant Balla comes
