Argita Malltezi, the daughter of the leader of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha, has stated that there is no investigative action related to Berisha.
In a press conference, she said that while the chief democrat is under house arrest, no new facts have emerged from the investigations.
"We are here in relation to the measures of restriction of freedom that were imposed on the head of the Democratic Party on October 20, 2023.
Specifically, the measure of the ban on leaving the country and the obligation to appear.
In this appeal we have presented the constitutional violations committed throughout the process by SPAK and the courts in complete violation of the Constitution and laws of the country, the European Convention of Human Rights and the standards of a fair and honest trial.
We remind you that we have never asked for the case not to be investigated.
But the investigation is based on pillars related to the rule of law and the equal treatment of citizens.
One of the aspects that will be addressed today is precisely this fact.
On the other hand, tomorrow we have the discussion session of SPAK's two-month report on the measure of arrest for the president of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, and for Jamarbër Malltez.
You see them yourself and you can do the math, this is the fourth report that is done.
The deadlines for these bimonthly reports have been exceeded. We received the SPAK report again in violation of the deadline, but we received it on June 26, today is July 29, and a decision has not yet been made on this matter.
But what was most shocking in the evaluation of the documents was the fact that this is the fourth report and there is still no word about Sali Berisha.
There is no investigative action related to Sali Berisha and still SPAK orders the continuation of the arrest measure because this is the political order and SPAK acts according to the baton of the conductor with the philosophical maxim of Altin Dumani that the courts take "nearly" the decision that SPAK wants.
The report submitted by SPAK evidences the procrastination of the investigations without any new facts to prove any violation by anyone, not only Sali Berisha and Jamarbër Malltezi for what is known as the file of the Partizani club.
They have spent a lot of resources to convince themselves or the public to do expertise that, according to any textbook, cannot be done because an expertise to be done must have some technical parameters. The documents that led to the examination lack technical parameters.
I am not discussing here about the resources they spend that this is an issue of the Albanians, but about the fact that they hide documents and still seek to change laws and presidential decrees through witnesses.
One of you at the last conference told me that you brought the same documents, but despite the fact that I brought the same documents, SPAK continues and tells the same lies, when these documents are in the file.

I'm not surprised that Duman gets breathless when he goes to press conferences, he knows what law he broke, so he gets breathless. That's why I don't know how to answer. It is good to break the law, but also the arrogance of breaking the law in itself constitutes a recidivism", she said.
