Invited to the podcast "TëPashoq" on Pamflet's "Youtube" channel, Ronald Bejko revealed his expectations for the trial of DP leader Sali Berisha for the "Partizani" file.
He stressed that he wanted this process to be fair, not influenced by external factors, and that in the end justice would be served regardless of the verdict. According to Bejko, this will be the most important trial in Albania, after the arrest of the blockmen and Fatos Nano.
"For Berisha, I want justice to be fair, that is, to be true. It should not be influenced by positive emotions, nor by negative emotions. Neither by voices that want Berisha to be punished, nor by those voices that do not want him to be punished. She must make a fair judgment, because this trial will have the attention of the entire public opinion. It will be one of the most important trials that have taken place in Albania, since the blockmen and the arrest of Fatos Nano; this will be the most important trial that has taken place in Albania or that will take place. But in any case, we do not have only one level of court. Even if the court of first instance is not up to the mark, we also have other levels of courts, and, as he said, Berisha will of course take the case to the Strasbourg Court if he is convicted ," said Bejko.
