Prime Minister Edi Rama continues to feel proud that he has a large number of his associates behind bars.
Today he was in Gjirokastra and continued with the statement that he gave the sword of justice to Altin Dumani. He also said that one should not bow one's head for those who have problems with justice.
Edi Rama: Altin Dumani is a prosecutor with integrity and courage. He deserves all the respect and solidarity for all those attacks they make. But, the point is that Dumani did not come from the moon these 3-4 years. He was in Tirana and had been working as a prosecutor for years. How is it possible that we did not know that a person with this name existed. That this honest person in all those years in the Prosecutor's Office did not call a powerful person to question him. How is it possible that the entire structure there does this today. What made this difference? The thing was that since 1912 when the Albanian state was created, it had never happened that a powerful person answered before independent prosecutors. It had happened that they were shot without trial.
Even here in this country 10-12-14 years ago it happened that the head of the country made a fool of himself, made more than a fool of himself in killing protesters in front of his own window. When the attorney general, who was a woman, tried to serve summons to three police chiefs, he came out and said she was a whore and did not allow justice to question them. Can you imagine this today? Something fundamental has changed, Albania has changed, the direction has changed. That is why the people say the country is going in the right direction, when that Trump pollster asks.
That's why we decided to leave the affairs of justice to justice. We need a justice freed from politics that can strike left and right. Who did I have left for? For the stamodumon?
